There is a block of 16 license slots inside these files. The original "yaris swap" was very simplistic and just overwrote the content in the first slot. Newer titles are aware of all 16 slots, and do not overwrite the content value unless it is explicitly all zeros. I think Fatum deserves the credit for this, but I could be wrong.

Uhm, that's just a regular content license, it's been publicly known since the beginning of the modding boom which was liek 2 years ago

DJ, Thank you for the history lesson. I didn't recognize that these were so well understood for so long.
How does that explain the first "yaris swap" programs getting it "wrong?" Just oversight?

I had the same issue, then I updated Le Fluffie to the latest version and now it says XUID instead of PUID, but the length was still not correct. I decided to take the last 12 numbers and use that as the XUID and it seems to have worked fine.
