Okey so I've been messing with upgrading my HDD did it from 20gb to 120gb but hears my concern i look at my free space and it only shows 40gb free i have my profile and saves and such copyed over but they do not add up why would a 20gb hdd be able to hold under 20gb but when i copy it to the 120gb it takes up more than half the drive? Another thing is im also upgrading a friends as well but he keeps getting "Unable to allocate cluster to chain! The file you are adding may be too large for the destination. No additional clusters were allocated." when i got his drive done it only had 1.3gb free of space but once again it came from a 20gb and it doesnt add up to the amount of space used on the 120gb. does the drive need to be formatted by fat32 or does it not cause i read all these ways to upgrade your hdd and none of them say to. I'm running vista if thats needed to be known. I'm sure i have other question but cant think of them right now. Please help and thank you for reading my topic.
