simple. buy a via VT6421 on ebay for $9, and use 360 Modification USB Drive v1.6 Revision 3 or 4, and your done. unless you have an old lite-on drive then youll need a ck3 and probe
I have the BenQ drive, but is it because my motherboard's SATA's aren't compatible?

after you boot from dos the usb setup will tell you what you need to know, also look at the vt64.. tutorial even if you dont have a via because youll need to know what port your sata is using before you boot the usb from dos
Okay, fixed my previous post by formatting my USB drive again with Free instead of MS. What's the vt64 tutorial?
I booted it and had some questions, first it asked me about the chip card you mentioned before, then it asked me about the Com number. Afterwards it asked me what drive I put benq. Then it asked me where to save the files so I just wrote in desktop. But I abandoned everything because I was scared I was going to brick it.
Is there a way to autodetect which Sata port it's plugged into?
