Title: How To Upgrade 20gb(m$) To 60gb(m$)
Post by: XBOX360NYMODING on July 02, 2009, 03:08:00 PM
for one u can not just make a backup and place on your 60 it will report back as a 20 gig
you will need to rip the 20 gig and then place all the files over to the 60 gig. you will need xport for the 60 gig to do what u want.

you want to make a backup image with xport of your 20 gig and then u can open the 20 gig backup and rip and move files to your 60

and yes some times the program dams up. i would do it one at a time to place on to the new drive

i have done 20 to 120 and 20 to 60 its not hard
xport and your pc

why not just give MS a call and get them to ship out a free transfer cable? It's alot easier and saves you the trouble of accidentally screwing something up, and either losing your data or making the 60Gb HDD unusable
