nOW i KNOW I NEED JUNGLE FLASHER AND IEXTREME
I KNOW IEXTREME IS THE FIRMWARE AND JUNGLEFLASHER INSTALLS IT IN MY DRIVE
THERES MORE PROGRAMS IVE READ LIKE IPREP ECT... i DONT KNOW WHAT i NEED OR DONT NEED
WHAT ELSE DO i NEED....DOES THE CARD COME WITH A DISC TO INSTALL THE DRIVER
IMKIND OF LOST. THE BEST TUTORIAL I FOUND IS 95% IN ENGLISH BUT WHERE IT TELLS U WHAT TO DOWNLOAD FOR SOME REASON IS IN A DIF LANGUAGE SO I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DOWNLOAD
WHEN I TRYED MANYTIMES TO DOWNLOAD JUNGLE OR IEX IT TELLS ME TOO CHOOSE A PROGRAN TO OPEN WITH AND I CHOOSE RECOMENDED EXPLORER OR ADOBE READER AND IT DOSENT WORK IM HAVING PROBLEMS DOWNLOADING
I HAVE SP2 AND WIN XP
CAN SOME ONE EXPLAIN WHAT FLASHING IS FURTHER
IVE READ ALOT ON IT AND PEOPLE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS LIKE
WNDOWS FREEZING
NOT DETECTING DRIVE
GETTING BANNED FROM XBOX LIVE
WILL THIS CAUSE PROBLEMS IN MY XBOX??

I been trying to download jungle flasher and it wont download anyone know why. Ive tryed alot of sites and i click open or save and it takes me to open program with... I click the recomended adobe reader or explorer and it takes me to the run or save option again

Ahhh yea lol i used win zip..took me a while to figure it out but I got jungleflasher downloaded and i think it came with porti032 i installed. problem im having now is that ixtreme links take me to limewire now when i download it from limewire wich was prob stupid and i try to extract it says windows wont allow me to open it to protect my comp

when I ordered all the stuff i was planing on using this tutorial i dont have a dual layer burner but i got the mem pen drive dvd drive sata cable and sata chip set and I'm guessing the driver that came with jungleflasher (port032) is ok??
so far ive downloaded firmtool iprep 101 ixtreme jungle flasher and port032
i know im almost clue less can some 1 clue me in
is porto32 the via sata 6421a driver?

The drive should be in Vendor Mode (0x70) now and return good flash chip properties; you can check under Flash Chip Properties, Drive Properties should show Drive in Vendor Mode!.
if ur sammy is showing it is in vendor mode by checking flash chip properties
, then u start at the part of the tutorial where it says "Reading the Firmware From the Drive". as for which tutorial u want to use its completely up to u and which one u feel more comfortable with. if u dont have a dvd+r dl burner u cannot burn xbox 360 games, ull either have to purchase one or find someone who does and get them to burn em for u. also it was telling u to burn a disk just as a way to unlock ur sammy through jungle flasher and there was two other ways also not using any media (dvd+r dl) but u said u didnt have to unlock ur drive anyways so that would be useless. check ur flash chip properties with sammy connected through SATA in jungle flasher. portio is not the drivers for your VIA card. google search

got another damn problem..
I got thereplacement laser for my drive. I unsoldered the bridge and it says open tray or unreadable disc.
Its the same pcb
the first time i unsoldered it ican har the drive working but never read
i tryed unsoldering i again to make sure and it says open tray or unreadable isc
the orig laser wrked for a hile 10 15min and i get a dirt disc error
