has anyone had success with backing up their originals using a SATA PIONEER DVR-216D?
I'm on my 12th coaster

full story is that i was using my pioneer 111 with no probs but it started ruining discs and not finishing burn with errors so i decided as ive had it for a few years to get the new pioneer 216 sata dvdromdl but all i get is open tray can anyone shed some light do i need to do something in bios?

sumvision, ive used these before and have been ok its only cause ive changed burner, they use ritek dye. really dont get this im even using a backup iso that i know works as ive done it before my burner broke only the disc is scratched so much now it wont play, so got new burner and cant get one backup running, i get open tray most of the time.
Hope i dont need to bring burner back to shop as its a nightmare.

use verbatims and i bet 100% of your discs will work
