Title: Backing Up Problems

im having problems with my on board sata seeing my samsung dvd rom on bios, but when i run mtkflash r/m ori.bin i dont get ms28 drive.
it shows ICH5 Master and ICH5 slave ive chosen both but it does nothing but sit there with a blinking cursor

everythime it worked before
i think i was backing up ide drive cause the one i backed up when i unplugged its all the molex cables from my ide devices it didnt show up on the menu.my orig.bin file is 128kb and when i run it in kdx it wont work. says wrong firmware file.

should i get that pci 64**a card?

yeah, unplug everything else before you flash one of your pc drives.
your problem is you have an MS28 and you need to try the bad flash recovery method.  also try using the latest xtreme boot maker, there are options to use the ms28 drive.
