Maybe the VLC extension uses up to much memory or isn't properly installed?
I use transcode 360 for DIVX and playback of DVD movies located on the hard disk of my PC. With transcode 360 you are able to ffw and frw through your movies.

I have experienced this issue with transcode as well tho. Anytime I press 'b' after decoding starts (for transcode or VLC) it disconnects. This is driving me crazy!!!!!!
