im just trying to patch my backup with ss merger 1.6 and im not havin much luck! the problem being that my c drive had only 200 mb of free space. after a couple of mins of running ssmerger is saying "not responding". now i only have 10mb free on c drive. (not too sure wy xp is still running) ive had a look to see where ss merger is creating ther new iso but cant find it. so heres my questions
1) where does ssmerger place patchged isos? (or temp files while patching)
2) can i chabge the default location to another hdd? if not is there an alternative merger i can use?
many thanks Ben

if it HAS to blank the video partion....(xtreme made iso) it will make an old.iso (or is it iso.old) temporarily (it rests where the original iso is, same path) and create a new one... once it's done, the temp file is erased and the space freed. Just in case, open up twice the disk space as the original iso size... which should be 12-14 gigs. Sucks, but it's the only way.
If it's wxripper style, with the video partition already blanked the conversion isnt nessicary and it only takes a moment to make the .dvd file.
There is no other tool capable of merging the SS. Get a bigger HDD or clear some stuff up!

Hi i've started backing up my games before my xbox 360 returns from the shop now i feel i'm doing something wrong as i'm using the wxripper method but my xbox 360 is having the xtreme firmware update. Does this mean i now have some coasters if thats what they are called thanks..
