KeyDrive Xtractor/Patcher v1.5-- Posted by XanTium on May 19 19:09 EST
Juanker, Scener and Apol of F-360 TEAM released a new version of the KeyDrive Xtractor/Patcher(info) - a tool that will allow you to easily extract and write the unique DVD key to/from an Xbox 360 DVD firmware file (so no need to hex-edit it manually anymore - can be used to easily read the key out of your original TS-H943 firmware file and write it to FOROS360s version of the Commodore4Eva Xtreme firmware (don't use the original firmware by Commodore4Eva with KDX)).
What's new/fixed
* Total compatibility with Samsung firmwares
* Improved the firmware detection system
* Support for all firmware versions: Toshiba 46DH, 47DH y 32CE y Samsung MS21 y MS25
* Improved the encrypted firmwares detection

I don't quite understand what the point of this tool is.

If you just use the Commodore4Eva Xtreme firmware package everything you need is in there.

Am I wrong?  Please tell me if I'm missing out on something by not using this software

This makes it easier for find their DVD key and patch the xtreme.bin with it.

By the way, it worked perfect for me. Well done F-360

We are entering a world void of standards. ick

How about modifying the patcher program to work with Commodore's firmware. Would that really have been much more difficult to do? Come on.
