Title: Windows 2000 + Wmc?
Post by: crimethink on March 17, 2006, 04:14:00 AM
Does WMC work on Windows 2000? If not, is there some kind of other thing like 'Connect360'?

I googled around and even took a whirl through MS' files, but I'm not sure if it works with Windows 2000... I have Windows 2000 Server with SP3.

not true, you need media center edition if you want live tv and stream video. you can use 2000/xp with windows media connect to stream music and photos to the 360.

Yes, you only need windows xp, windows 2000.

You only need media center if you want to play, streem, record live tv.

Can someone clarify?

If it's possible, can someone direct me to a download?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Just thought I'd add, I recently installed Windows 2000 Server (within hours), and I'm just getting SP4 now.
