Before I get started I already know about HDTVPUMP, and that I can use it to stream .ts files. With that said Id liek to tell you all what I want to do. My goal is to have my media center pc turn into a HD .WMV juke box so I can just pick in choose what I want to watch with out having to touch the media center pc which has no monitor and is stashed way back of my desk out of sitght. So far I have had great luck with converting .avi HD files to .wmv with out any quality loss, it does take about 40 hours to convert a 9.5 gig file though. So far the best program to do the conversion is canopus procoder 2, I am open to trying new software if some one thinks they have a better program. My problem right now is .ts files. I want to convert them to somthing playable on the xbox 360 and not lose any quality, preferably .wmv. Well so far Ive tried about 5 differant conversion software including hdtvtompeg, canopus procoder 2, riverpast video cleaner and a few others. Some of these programs dont recognize these files while others will come out like a slide show after converting them. When I tried hdtvtompeg it makes a .mpg that is not recognized by windows media player for what ever reason and of course the xbox 360 wont read it either. If any of you all are intrestied in making somthing similar ( HD video juke box) I urge you to to try new things out so we can make it easier on each other. A few of my friends and I have started a new news group which is gonna be devoted to HD WMV but its new and we dont have many cappers/ peopel to encode HD movies in .wmv file format. Feel free to join alt.binaries.HD.WMV on efnet or write back in the post if you feel like helping in any way possible.

I'm a bit confused mate..I have a MCE PC which currently has 10 HDDs all filled with .ts movies (and a few WMVs), I dont use keyboard or mouse on it as it sits in the passageway next to my room and 360 sees all the movie folders and plays flawlessly.
I installed HDTVpump, got the 360 to see the folders and that was it.
Using my normal PC I FTP new .ts stuff to the drives over my network.
I may be misunderstanding what you want to achieve but as far as I can see, everything is in place for you to do what you want to do.
