Title: Please Help If You Have This Working.
Post by: rocket_robot on January 07, 2006, 12:06:00 PM
I have an xbox hard-wired to a windows 2003 server and I am using Internet connection sharing with that network card. I have Vmware running on windows 2003 server. Vmware is running xp media center with the 360 extender options installed. However I can't get the xbox 360 to see the drives on the windows 2003 server? any ideas?

Also when I have setup the Xbox 360 so that it can see the media center under vmware I have to set the ip on the 360 to manual, 192.168.0.100. But then i can't connect to xbox live. When I switch it back to Automatic, xbox live works but I can't see the media center. Any ideas, I really need a kind of step by step example, with ip ranges and protocals and bridges defined for me. What is NAT anyway. It would be nice to have a sort of guide as there will be more people trying to set this up I guess.

Thanks...
