Title: Dual Boot Question

I always booted off the cd and picked a partion to install to.
Windows will create a entry in your boot.ini file so that you can choose which one to boot to

You should be able to do it either way. I prefer to boot off the cd and run the install from there. Just choose your new partition and go. Like instabin said, it will configure your boot menu for you. Make sure to install all the current updates for the OS when your done.

Thanks guys, that's exactly what I needed to know.  I think I will install from booting the cd b/c it sounds a bit more straight forward that way.
