1. Go on Xbox Live, buy the content you want.
2. Save it to your NAND space (4 GB space in the one I have).
3. Insert a flash drive you don't care about.
4. Format it with the interface. Make sure it has enough space. Xbox 360 FS overhead takes up almost a gigabyte.
5. Now go to System Settings -> Memory -> NAND -> Games. Copy the DLC to your USB drive.
6. Once done, move the USB drive to your JTAG console.
7. Start XM360.
8. FTP in. You should see USBmu0 as a directory. Browse that and go to Content. This is laid out exactly the same way as a normal HDD.
9. Download it, hex swap with Yaris Swap.
10. Now upload the modified copies back to your JTAG's HDD.
Verify and make sure the DLC loads (either the game loads it, the XBLA game is in the dashboard, etc). XM360 should see it too if you do Rescan.
IMO this is easier than messing with Xtaf. Reliability with the FS (using the real APIs from XDK). I use Linux but I used a VM to run Yaris Swap. So really I was within my VM when I did all this.
You also avoid having to remove the HDD from the Xbox 360 S entirely. Or dumping the NAND (lol)?
