Title: Is My Box Safe For Live And Some Other Things
Post by: mana100 on August 10, 2010, 04:14:00 PM
Hello, I have recently j-tagged my box and wanted to know if it is safe for xbox live, I am asking this as I remember reading I think on teamfsd website that they tried to keep the gamer tag as clean as possible so to reduce the probability of being banned, not sure just wanted a confirmation.

Also I have seen people talk about a tool called XBLA unlocker, if the case is that the console can not connect to live as it is J-tagged then how do I download XBLA games/demos etc?

let me know thank you

Jtagged boxes will be banned from live within 4 hours usually.

JTAG boxes were never meant to see Live, unless you're doing a lobby or something to that effect.

XBLA Unlocker is a little outdated, check out XM360 instead.

Thanks for the response, one last question

So my box would get banned after 4hours on live, then how do I download XBLA content/ locked demos etc??? is there like a pc tool or would I need a unmoded xbox to do this, and if so then how would I make it so the content downloaded on the unmoded console can be used on any J-tagged xbox, I thought that the DLC is locked to specific game tag and console???

Thanks for all the help
