Title: Lips Party Classics Black Screen With Xexmenu
Post by: Redsquirrel on February 26, 2010, 02:40:00 AM
So I got Lips Party Classics delievered early yesterday and installed it on the USB HD of my jtag 360.

However when you run it, a black screen appears. I also removed the system update folder.

Im using xexmenu 1.1 - is it a problem with it needing to do a install or a xexmenu issue? All the other games seem fine!

I had the same problem and I ripped it again and left the system update folder and it worked. The second time I ripped it I also did not run it through X360GameHack and the first time I did so I am not sure maybe that was the problem.

I also got this working.  biggrin.gif
Xenon JTAG, xexmenu 1.1 game in; usb:\games\lips party classics, without $systemupdate-folder.

What did you use to extract\rip the game? I used Schtrom360Xtract V4.1.

Hope you get it working.

Sorry to take this off topic, but I can't get this game to play songs in 5.1 surround sounds, all other games and the Xbox 360 dashboard work fine for me in surround sound. Anyone else have this problem?

Not sure about the 5.1 but it turns out the extractor was only ever extrating 350mb of the iso. used another extractor and it now works perfectly (without system update folder)

what extractor were you using that would bomb out after 15mins?

I use Xbox Image Browser, and touch wood had no problems yet

I was using Extract-xiso360 by Ize. I then swapped to exiso-gui by schmurtz which then extracted properly.

Im sure they are both GUI frontends for the same program though. odd.

One thing I've had with my 360 is it losing signal every so often. Last night it wouldn't turn on for ages. I'm not saying its anything to do with the jtag, its jut weird. Could be a lead problem or 360 issue (i hope not! - i love my jtag!!)
