You need to install XEXmenu and then you can FTP games to your internal or external hard drive.

so let say, I got a back up iso of a game, should I copy the iso directly?
by ftp you mean, what can i transfer to the hdd and that the xex loader will be able to load? do I need any additional programs to load the game?

geht xbins.exe , google for it, download xexmenu. use the xexmenu-iso and burn it to a cd or dvd. put xexmenu-live on usb stick. put both in xbox, copy with CD the xexmenu-live to content folder (readme...)
start xexmenu-live from games tab.
than you can use ftp ( disable XBOX-LIVE ACCESS in parental control first!!!!) to install for example freestyle dash or xm360.
isos extracted e.g. with http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=706287
put them in Games folder on hdd1 or usb. start with xexmenu or freestyle dash.
