Title: Abgx And Retail Games
Post by: DemisesAngel on November 10, 2009, 01:30:00 PM
I've never really asked or researched as to why we put the layer break on games we backup. I noticed with abgx that the layer break is 2160 with a retail game.

Why do we use layer breaks? Also, why is the layer break reported as 2160 with retail games?

Duh, but obviously any program recognizing the file size to be over a standard DVD Size and and the Disc being a Dual Layer will create its own layer break to fit it.

But you still didn't answer my question, why that certain layer break and why does retail have 2160?
