Title: Help Need From The Community

well i seem to have gotten myself in a jam.. and would hope someone could help me...
i need to fix my 20Gb hdd...
i took it outa its shell... and used it in a laptop for a while... and now i wish to reformat it..
what can i do?

Format it with windows and then format it in the 360...... Should work, if it doesn't, I don't know what to say. Shouldn't have done that, that is for sure.

With out your original HDDSS.bin you will not be able to return it to your xbox so take this as a lesson and always back up your HDDSS.bin and content so you don't repeat this problem again

But on the bright side you have a spare laptop HDD  smile.gif

just grab the 20gb fw from the usual place and reflash the drive ...
then put it in the 360 and format it after it asks for the serial number...no biggie...

 Darn it underdog!  Now how am I going to sell him one of these worthless 20gb authentic HD's I have, that I took out of the cases for 250gb hacks!   jester.gif
