Title: Use Xtractor For Other Drives?

Ok, I know that tools like the xtractor and the CK3 are for flashing the lite-on drives with the spear and whatnot, but can you use the tool with other drives too? Like instead of using the xbox power plug, use the one through the xtractor for turning off the drive and never have to worry about the xbox?

I hope that all made sense and it is an easy answer.
