Title: About Nxe And Mod 360

Im new here, so I wanna ask about NXE. I have 360 Elite (wth flashed DVD-drive), anyway we'll get NXE so soon in a few weeks. The Question is : could we still able to Install our Games (Copied DVD aka not original)

We all knew after we installed the games, the disc still needed to prove that u have the game.
note : I have read that the disc still needed to prevent pirates.

No one know's yet.  Your gonna have to wait and see when NXE comes out

got NXE and ix1.4 no problems during install play from hd works fine too... no worries mate.  just take the update when it hits on the 19th and enjoy.

The beta has been out for a while but you needed Infectus and or your CPU key.
A new preview release has hit Usenet.. according to the NFO.. you will not be able to get on Live again until the 19th .. and the avitars will be available through a 2nd update after the 19th

Yeap, i can confirm that backup games work like a charm on NXE. (Elite/ BenQ/iXtreme 1.4)

Yup. Sweet I put my BenQ back in and copied GTA IV and MC LA to the hdd.. no more texture issues.

Installing games using the new NXE on a hacked 120gb WD BEVS works fine. Tested it...works great with Mass Effect which suffers terrible graphic dropouts and stuttering....also great with GTA IV though doesnt improve loading time by much.

My related question.
If I rip from a box with a modified firmware, then swap the drive to a liteon box will the rip still play?

but do i need a modded 360 to load backups onto the hdd with the NXE firmware?

Yes.. You need a modded 360 for this to work.

Hey, everyone. I just installed the NXE today. I was curious though about something. Not sure if its suppose to be posted here, but here it goes.

Since, we are able to install our games on the HDD, could it be a possibility of us playing on Xbox Live with backups that are installed on the HDD? Could Microsoft detect us?

^ you still need the dvd in the drive to get the backup to work. If there was an exploit to run the game by itself without dvd, that would be different I think..
