I was wondering if anyone could help me. I recently purchased a new Xbox 360 Elite and inside was a a XBOX 360 MTE Retail Test Disc similar to the on found in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hv_BEBVQ_UU
Im not sure what the date is on it cos i don't have it with me, but does anyone know what it is used for, i haven't been able to find any information on it. It seems to have a lot of files, maybe for media testing, but it doesn't run any software on the 360 that i am aware of. It wont run on my pc wither, just seems like some branded data disc. I do have a modded 360 also but was unable to accomplish much with it there either.

do you have a picture of the disc? have you tried popping it into xbc to check out the file structure?
i don't know if you saw this thread or not, it was also about a microsoft disc popping up like that

Similar kind of disc, This one is Green and says MTE on it. I will check out the file structure when i get home, has a lot of weird media on it, pictures and video, but also files with extensions i have never seen before.
Ill update the post with more info when i get home from work.
