Title: Might Help Someone/ Re: 111d Burning And Daemon Tools Vista Ultimate
Post by: s2martin on October 06, 2007, 12:41:00 PM
If anyone else has been getting the calibration errors or io errors when trying to burn using the 111d and Vista this may help..

For the last week i've had nothing but trouble trying to burn any games and always getting the drive calibration error so i thought oh well drive is dead..

For some reason today i thought what if i would disable the Daemon tools created drive and hey presto every disc is burning perfect again.. i was litrally (spl) 2 mins away from removing and binning my 111d lol

All i did was disable the daemon drive (in my case I:) through device manager and burned 3 games then re-instated the daemon drive and once again the calibration error returned.

Now everyone might now this but i didnt as i don't really read the forums much but i'm hoping it might help others in case they are stuck and if it is a common know fix then oh well ha ha..

Cheers
Mart

Nice 1 mate. I been using ImgBurn for my backups untill yesterday when i started getting Power Calibration Errors at 52%, i burned 2 coasters before i switched back to CloneCD and got a 100% Burn. Perhaps ill uninstall Daemon and see if that works, i prefer ImgBurn and was bummed when it spat 2 disks back at me.
