Title: Is It Wise To Update My Xbox 360?

OK guys  I Got  an xbox 360 and I wanted to make it play thoses Xbox1  Games that are backward compatible with it how ever it says that I have to updates it . So is it wide to update it or not? since I planned on hacking it in the near feature

Are you doing this through live?  You will get an update everytime you put an Xbox 1 game in.  Taking this update is the only way to play.  The only updates you want to be weary of are the dashboard updates.  (I dont think those have cause dvd hack problems yet)

are there any games that require you to update the dash to play? I want to play dead rising, but want my box ready in case a exploit is found

could it be like the psp where if you put in a new game it updates the firmware to play the game?

MS could start doing that, and hell, that could stop alot of people from modding.

It did on the psp, but of course it was hacked fast.
