.bin VCDS dont play in xbox media center

now my question is....

do the VCDS have to be in MPEG format to play on the xbox??

my problem is that my VCD is in .bin format...like i burned it as a BIN so it plays on standalone dvd players for my tv etc, but not in XBOX MEDIA CENTER....so is XBOX MEDIA CENTER capable of playing VCDS in .bin format and if so how.

thanks a bunch

Try from HDD first.

If it is from cd it is very likly so that your xbox dvd-rom just dont read that brand of media. <

yeh i been hearing bin on HDD works....

but i really rather leave that space open for small games and apps
and its too time consuming/hassle to just FTP the movie and delete, rather just watch on the PC lol

keep all regular games and movies on dvd

One thing I found is that certain .bin files don't work.  FOr example, I orginally made some VCDs that had a "change disc" image come up at the end of the first disc.  That alone messed up the vcd playing correctly when the "bin" was loaded up in XBMC.  The second disc worked fine.  It took me forever to figure out why it didn't play correctly.

I bought a vcd, and have been unable to watch it on my xbox. I dont have another dvd player, but my family have told me they have tested it on their dvd player, and it worked. I am not sure if it has a "change disk" image, is there anyway I would be able to look at the files in the CD to see if that is the case? <
