Title: 2 Xboxes Running From Wireless Laptops - Nat Problem
Post by: sakz1 on December 07, 2009, 02:28:00 AM
I have 2 xboxs on the network- both are run wirelessly through laptops. I have a linksys WRT600N router that i am using. Both xboxes have static ip's in which they connect directly to the laptop. Whenever we try to play CODMW2, we get a nat type: moderate and have a lot of problems trying to join each other's games.

I have tried port triggering and port forwarding but those dont seem to work at all to get any xbox on an open nat type (I use my laptop's local IP for the ports). If i set my laptop's ip as DMZ one of the xboxes will have an open type while the other will still have moderate. I dont want to use DMZ on my laptop anyways since I will be at so much risk. I enable UPnP, but still have problems because i THINK it is only used for direct connections from router to the xbox.

Anyone have any info on this?
