Hey!
I recently bought a 120gb elite box, and now all my saves/dlc is on the old drive.
Is there any easy way to copy the saves/dlc between them without buying the "transfer kit" ?
I've got the xecuter hdd-kit but it always gives me some error shit so that doesnt seem to work..
second, my 120gb elite's liteon is flashed but i havent done anything with that 360.
I assume if I go live to recover my gamertag/dlc I'll get banned?
If I reflash it with my original firmware can I go live to download that / recover gamertag then re-flash it?
I don't have any achievements from "too new" games on my profile.

Transfer kit works best but failing that you can use xplorer and your hdd kit, copy the contents to your pc then to your new hdd. It should work, if not check you have installed xplorer correctly and have the latest .net etc.
If you go on live on a modded box which hasn't yet been banned then chances of a ban are very high at the moment and it will cripple your hdd so don't risk it. Even a reflash wont reduce the risk.

so even if I reflash it with the original (unmodified) firmware it could result in a ban?

Nobody knows but the risks are very high. I don't know of any modified console that hasn't been caught, some without playing a single game, so chances are it's flagged and waiting for the ban. Don't risk losing hdd functions by checking.
