I have decided to change my email address from hotmail to gmail as I get far too much crap to my hotmail address and hotmail is also a bit rubbish with outlook. I have been switching my details for all online services I can think of and I think I now only need to change my windows live id address. However it appears that if the original address was a hotmail one then it won't let you change your default address. Ridiculous!
So my questions are:
1. Am I right in thinking that I can't change my address in windows live?
2. If so, can I create a new xbox live ID with my new address and attach it to my xbox live profile?
3. My gold subscription runs out tomorrow so I guess I could create a new windows live ID and a new xbox live account but then am I right in thinking that I would lose all my Halo3 stats etc? I don't want to do this!
Any advice would be appreciated!
