I was thinking the same thing, but dude you shouldnt have xtreme on you should use ixtreme, you can still be detected for your backups online with xtreme you should use ixtreme.

Ah..... that is a pisser.. I see your problem, and with halo 3 coming out i bet your like me cant wait to hand over your money to go and buy the ultimate game ever. I cant wait till the 26th counting down the days right now.

I have asked about and hopefully will get a response about wether its the firmware or the backups which are detected I'll PM you when i find out.

But sure the ban hammer will be coming out soon. But we'll have to wait and see.

If you have the Fall Update on your system (included in just about every game released since last September) or the Spring Update, then you'll probably be banned because you've played Xbox 1 DVD5 backups. It doesn't matter if you've ever been online before, if your system has those updates, then M$ has been logging your non-stealth backups and will upload that data to Live when you connect. There's a small chance you won't be banned, but a pretty good chance that you will.

MS does not log the information locally (yet).  As soon as you are on live with a disc in the tray, you will start counting up flags of having a modded system.  Originals can get you banned on non-ixtreme fw (5.3 and older in your case).

So, a smart thing to do would be to wait untill the banning starts again and see, if the iX getts banned. If it doesn't, it should be safe to online with it and an original disk for a while.

Someone at the 360Mods forum told me that M$ can't detect the firmware if it's 4.0 or higher, because of that MS28 thing they have. That true?
