not gona be the WEP. most likely to far from the router or interference of some sort

the WEP wouldn't cause the lag, however the are other factors that could be the issue. my guess is that either there is interference as ham said, or your xbox is further away from the router and isn't getting as strong of a signal. if your router and your xbox are on differant floors, expect problems in most cases.

definately not the wep thats slowing it down, there is a list of other factors that have been mentioned in the thread that are places you should be looking. you should wire your xbox if at all possible as it will provide a faster, more stable connection then wireless will.
