you can still play on xbox live with your account on a friends box. just be carefull that you dont play on a friends box that is modified, b/c xboxlive will scan any box you play on now that your gamertag is flagged for having been banned.

same thing applies to the xbox360, you should have no problem using your xbox live profile on it.

the ban applies to the modified machine, not your xbox live account.
