Might be just me but i was taught to solder a little bit different...  but that seems like a good guide, i may try to learn to solder like that...

p.s. i was taught to "tin" my wire and iron, and use some flux

That is just how i taught to solder. i think that was an execlent guide. short and sweet and to the point!

he did a good good apart from melting the pcb!!! lol
and if you dont solder like that you shouldnt solder smile.gif

and i would also cut the access of the leg before soldering it, and i wouldnt hold the iron there for so long

but that is a pretty good guide for 1 minute 30 seconds smile.gif

Well PCB's are designed to be soddered, and they dont burn.melt that easy, jusr because of soddering, if you are soddering heat sensitive items use a heat sink.
