ok i have a xbox that flashes green with a game in it still plays the game fine it just flashes green all the time if you boot to m$ dash it doesnt flash but if you put the game in while in m$ dash it starts flashing and it wont load it you have to boot with the game in its a stock xbox thanks to anyone who can help

ok i have a update ive changed the thompson for a samsung changed the yellow power wire and the ide cable and it still does it and you dont have to put a game in you just have to open the dvd drive all the way then when you close it all it does is flash green it will not load a game and when you push the power button it takes about 5 seconds for it to turn off when the light is flashing anyone have any ideas could it be the power button or the motherboard (dont see how) just let me know ill try it

i called m$ they just say its the dvd and to send it to them with $100.00 and they would fix it hahahaha
anyone have a idea???

ok i have swapped everything but the motherboard and the hard drive i also updated the ms dash anyone know what on the motherboard would make it do this it plays games fine if there in the drive on boot and to get it to eject you have to turn it off then went you turn it back on it will eject when you push the button

i have changed the eeprom today and it didnt help it

ok someone said it could be a bad bios so if i softmod it and run xecuters bios would it override m$ bios or would it just run long enough to load a game then M$ bios take back over
