Title: New And Have A Few Questions About Modding

I would like to get into modding my 360, but not really sure where to start.  I don't really wanna crack open my current 360 as I'm afraid it will fail and I can't send it to MS to fix it.

I was wondering what kind of modding works the best.  I'm not sure to go the softmodding way or to get a mod chip.  

I also wanted to know if any one had an idea what banned 360's sell for, as if I screw one up it wouldn't be such a big deal.

then don't.

the only way to mod a 360 is by opening it up and voiding your warranty.

 I'm not an appraiser, so i wouldn't know what banned 360's go for...

I was still going to actually open a 360 just not my main machine is what I meant.

I did the software mod recently and it works great. Its very easy, easier then soldering a chip. Just do alot of research before you decide to do anything.
