This is becoming really frustrating as I don't like disabling Zonealarm 5 while Im on the net. I dont get any rss feeds or cannot use any internet features when zonealarm is enabled. Any help would be much appreciated.

i have zone alarm too... and i don't need to disable it to get rss feeds....
well im not using avalaunch... but i guess that couldn't be your problem...
in "firewall" tab, in "zones" add an entry for the xbox...
click "add" then "ip adress"
enter the ip of your xbox, and set it as "trusted"
that's what i have... and it doesn't guive me any problems....
try it.. it might help...

like ofbz said, make your xbox's ip trusted, you deifnitely shouldn't be running round the net with the firewall disabled

Yep I added the IP range to be trusted before making this post. Even then it does not work.

i have the same problem
when i used zone alarm 4.5 the xbox conntected to the net without problem,
but since upgrading to ZA 5.1.033 the xbox wont connect, I have added its ip in the trusted zone and tried setting expert rules to allow but with no joy,
any ideas anyone before I go back to ZA 4.5

it seems that with the new version you have to play with the setting a little bit more....

already had that set up that way but still no luck thanks for the help
though, going back to 4.5

i still have the 4.1 version... i'm planning on upgrade, but i don't want to mess anything up...
so... yeah... maybe you should stay with 4.5 till you find out whats wrong...
