Title: Error 74

so i snagged a busted 360 for 40 dollars, apparently it lost power during an update and now shows error 74. i checked the video cable the power cable and the Ana chip and no luck yet, anyone know a possible fix? is it possible that i currupted the Nand?

it is not the nand then you would get 1000 instead of 1022
1000 Kernel can't be launched/signature in NAND Flash chip is broken! It could be possible after bad update. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?sho...p;#entry4156375
E74 is a problem with the scaler-chip the av-cable or maybe even the gpu so put pressure on the ana chip and boot the xbox if itsd that heat it up with a heatgun also try a different av cable and if all this doesnt work it will be the gpu which you can fix with the x-clamp replacement
