1. not quite sure, i think around 50C but room temp takes a part in that.
2. alot higher than the heat the xbox 360 can produce.
3. any where between a day and 10 years.
having cool air coming out of your console is ok if you have good mods done as the air will not get a chance to heat up. i would only be worried if the air is cool on a stock 360 after a few hours.
"3. any where between a day and 10 years." lol scuba so true.

Anyone else would like to share their cooling mods and temps from air cooling ?
I might do a proper temperature analysis later but after my setup I was quite surprised how much I could decrease the temperature of the heatsink
I recently got a transparent case and led kits.
However I cut a hole into the front right above my xcm-fan which I modified a bit so that it is closer to the hole
I put heatsinks on all chips that get any hot/installed thick thermalpads
I also replaced the case fan with a talismoon whisperfan which I 12Volted
I also did the fanshroud mod and an improved version of the airflow divider(just closed the remaining holes with tape) and I put tape on all the places where the fanshroud is open(over the whole gpu heatsink and cpu heatsink around the case fan and the part where the fan shroud doesnt completely touch the mainboard)
When I was done with all the stuff I touched my cpu heatsink after hosting a clanmatch of cod4 and it was as cold as it is when you turn the 360 on(room themperature)
So I took my termometer and fixed the sensor with tape at the lower copper part of the cpu heatsink.
Then I waited for a bit and played a few rounds of cod and after some time it was around 29°C most of the time it was rather 28°C though
This surprised me quite a lot as I remembered the thing to become bruning hot with the usual setup. So I plugged out all the fans to check out how fast the temperature of the heatsink rises because I feared to have used too much/few thermal compound...
However the thing became burning hot within less than a minute so I quickly turned it off
I will check the other temperatures as well when I find the time cause actually I am quite busy...
Here is a little picture:

*EDIT*
I also cut the exhaust grill out and the air thats coming out of my 360 feels very hot

CPU is also a problem too, unless you have a falcon.
testing temperatures from the heatsink isnt a 100% way to test the temps.
willhelm - if you have delta fans, i would suggest you use them instead of the talismoon, they move much more air, even at 7V
Thanks for the advice, if the temperature of the GPU is too high I will try the original fans otherwise I will just leave it this way as it looks really good with the leds and I think they are a bit more quiet as well...
I 12Volted the fans of my friends xbox as well and I noticed it moved more air but this was after I did mine already however his is louder than mine...
