Title: No Video , But There Is Audio

Hi There,


I have an issue - there's no video out of my xbox - but there is sound , and everything seems to work fine other then the fact that there is no video.

The thing started 2 weeks ago - the screen suddenly turned yellowish , and when I turned off the machine - no more video output at all. (but the machine works well - green lights and everything - and games seem to load OK(with sound and everything) but without any video)

I tried :

1) removing the Disk in the tray & the Harddrive
2) testing the machine on another TV with another cable
3) setting the cable from/to tv to hdtv
4) The power supply is lit green so it's working fine
5) resetting Display setting to default by using the Y+RT combination (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911059)

So I'm stuck with a machine that does work but with no video at all.
I cannot send my machine back to MS since I live abroad and the whole shipment thing will get too pricey (My machine is hacked so I guess they won't even fix it...)


Is there a solution for my problem ? I heard of the Hot Towels trick & X-Clamp - will any of these methods solve my issue ? I'll appreciate any help since I'm kindof stuck with a semi-broken machine.....
