Title: Can You Fix A E73 Xbox 360?
Post by: amoeller on December 25, 2007, 11:42:00 AM
Ok I just had a post about my Xbox having red ring issues but fixed them with the x clamp replacement. A few days later now when I turn on my Xbox I get the E74 error but the text is light purple. I got out the heat gun and heated up the ANA chip and GPU and the error changed to E73. I did more heat gun things and the E73 is still there but now nothing at all shows up on the TV. The screen flickers and just black. I tried 3 of my A/V cables and still nothing. What can I do to fix this?

I've got the same problem with mine and I think its borked. I do have one question though is your motherboard flexed (especially around the ethernet area)?

My board was a little warped but flexing it didn't do much.

Well I asked because the only solution I've seen for the E73 is flexing the board (heating it). But in general, this error seems to be incurable because its is usually a result of a bad southbridge.
