Title: Very Quick Samsung Drive Question!

Hi folks! Just a quick one!

Ok....in the samsung drive, on the metal casing, there's a plastic ring that alligns with main err spinning bit in the drive that turns the disk......is this white plastic ring supposed to rattle about of be solidly in one place?

It's the metal ring the disc sits on.
