Title: Dvd Try Partial Eject Problem

Hi

My Xbox 360 has just started playing up and I wondered if anybody could help.

When I push the eject button the tray only comes partially and I have to manually pull it out the rest of the way.  I have had the console for about 18 months now and only use it once or twice a week and have never had any problems till now.

Anyone got any ideas?

what model drive is it.

Samsungs have eject problems.  Look at the little rubber band that moved by the gears.  maybe it is slipping.   I usually pull those off clean them and take alcohol and clean the spools that hold the rubber and clean the rubber band with hot water.

Has worked for me a few times lately.

Just an idea.
