Title: I Have A New 360 Hard Drive / Want To Use It Usb ..

i have a brand new 360 drive , taken from the case today . never even turned the box on to use it . i would like to add it to my other 360 for space . if i purchase a usb slim case for it can i plug it in and use it without any formatting ? its a 20 gig from a premium unit . i would like the extra space for saves and use the one my box has just for demos and such . any thoughts ? thanks , joe
