Title: Dual-link Dvi And The 360

Well I recently bought a 30" widescreen Dell monitor for my computer, and its great for the main reason I got it (which is for the PC) but it sure would be great if I could get the 360 going on it as well. The only video output its capable of however, is Dual Link DVI. Now I understand there is no Dual Link DVI cable, or anything of that nature that will get the 360 to send the necessary resolutions to the monitor. So with that in mind, does there exist a video card, or ANY type of peripheral I could plug the system into, to get it working with this monitor?

The new XCM hdmi cable will let you do it.

Very cool, I've never seen those before. Thanks for the link! Just to make sure though, can you (or anyone else) comment on how they'll work when connected to a dual-link dvi monitor? Like will the picture quality be hindered at all, or will it only show up in a box in the center of my monitor?

Also my monitors native res is 2560x1600 if this makes any difference.

That's a ridiculously high resolution. Does your 360 have HDMI? If it does, just buy an HDMI>DVI converter (maybe $5 on eBay or at a local computer shop) and run it at 1080p.

I have an original model 360, so no HDMI. I always just assumed I could stick a DVI to VGA adapter on and just plug into my monitor that way. But upon researching that, it apparently doesn't work. I was told it makes the image quality really bad or something.
