Hi
I bought a brand new 360 a few month ago and all seemed fine with the machine but then one night it would no longer read my farcry predator. Now at the time my younger brother was using the machine and at the time it was standing vertical and a not very steady unit.
So i had the game fixed and them lay my xbox flat just incase on a very steady Tv unit and it seemed ok until once again during the game it could not read the disc again.
So after this i thought maybe when the game was fixed it wasnt good enough so i bought a brand new version of the game which has been working fine for a few months so far.
I have other games but i play farcry a lot with my brothers via the system link and no other games have been scratched so far.My farcry game was left in my machine last night and tonight when i switched the machine on and booted the game i heard it making a noise where i could just tell it had scratched the cd.
Now i switched off the option so that a game does not boot up right away until i click on the game on the dashboard which was when i heard it eating the disc.
The game crashed at the title screen so then i restarted the game and then when i was gonna host a match i got that god damn error message about not being able to read the disc.
So i'm a bit confused to say the least as its not like it eats games none stop its seems to do it every so often,i do not knock the machine or anything like that as at the time i was sitting down when this happend.
Then the fact that this has only happend on every farcry game i used but this could just be down to the fact i play that the most, although i have played project gotham a fair bit also.
So what do some people on here think?Should i just send it back to microsoft??
Thanks for any advice.
