Title: Can I Swap My Defective Samsung Laser For A Hitachi Gdr-3120l Laser?

I have a extra dvd drive, the gdr-3120l if my Samsung laser died, could I swap it out with that one? would it work fine?

The samsung is a MS25

The Hitachi and Samsung drives use the same laser, so yes.
