possible to flash a ms28 drive with ms25 firmware ?


would the downgrade mean i wouldnt have to do tricks to flash it  ?


is there a chance it wouldnt work  ?

The drives are identical except for the FW, so you can flash an ms28 with ms25 FW and vice-versa. You'll have to use the bad flash recovery method and a Via SATA chipset to get the ms28 flashed in the first place with the ms25 FW, better to really just dump the ms28 and patch it with your key, then spoof it as an ms25, but either way it'll work and you'll need to have the Via SATA chipset to even dump/flash it to begin with since it's an ms28.
