Title: Dvd Drive Failing

I've noticed that my loading times have been getting slower and my drive is getting louder. I should I look into fixing this problem? I don't think its the motor. How hard is it to replace the lense?

first try a pot tweak (in the pinned tuts section) then try a laser replacement. is very east to replace a laser i think theres a tut for that in there as well.

Thanks! Its just clicking and kinda not loading slow... so I'll see if I'm brave enough to try those...

did the pot tweak on my sammy two days ago to no avail.
so i just popped a new laser in there and it works great.
no pot tweaking required for the new one... good luck man.

The stock laser in there now is either an SF-HD63 or SF-HD67, either one will work as a replacement and the lasers are the same between the Hitachi and Samsung drives as well.

I ordered the laser... Sounds easy except I can't Solder to save my life.
