Do you know the prices of these wheels?  A logitech wheel is $119 and it's nothing compared to the 360 wheel. if you cannot afford it stick with the controller.

That's not the wheel I was referring to and the retail price is $99.99. Newegg is sometimes able sell below the MSRP. The Ms wireless wheel already cost 129.99 on Newegg so after the drop it will be cheaper.

You can probably play all tracks also reversed. Also, Microsoft is (off course) willing to sell you extra tracks... for a nominal fee, off course. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Off course, I don't use Xbox Live and I sure as hell don't play games for which I must pay extra to make it 'complete'.

What does it mean that it has true force feedback?  Is there a fake force feedback?

I guess they wanted to emphasize that it's NOT just "vibration" simulated to feel like a force feedback effect.

I was just thinking of picking up a wheel for the upcoming Colin McRae DIRT (boy, the screenshots look awesome so far), so this price drop comes at a perfect time for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

12 tracks is more than enough plus you will be able to do backwards etc. How many tracks do you need?

Yeah, what with them potentially stopping pirates and making sure their TOS isn't breached MS really should lower their prices to counteract their 'sin'. Next you'll be hearing that after a judge convicts a murderer he'll let the next 3 sex offenders off without charge.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) That would be pretty sweet, and actually possible to make. It'd be mega cool for racing games where if you crash too hard you can die and fail the race or something.

If my 360 wasn't deciding to break every now and then i'd definently pick up this game & steering wheel, regardless of price.
