Title: Memory Unit Question

i was wondering if the 360 memory cards were usb flash drives with the usb part in disguise like on the original xbox. if it is does anyone know if you can just switch the one they have and solder your own female usb port to the mobo in its place. i did this to my xbox 1 and it made it a lot easier to hook up usb devices. thnx for any links or info
